Chronic T1 Testing
Do you have a T1 voice or data circuit that has the equipment vendor, transport carrier and service (switch) provider pointing fingers at each other?
The team at testcall.com will install a device inline with your T1 to localize the problem. Installed between the lec smartjack and the premise equipment, the device will report on which device is causing errors. In the diagram below, we illustrate a typical problem.
- The customer experiences "random" disconnected telephone calls. The CLEC sees some errors "toward the network"
- Testcall team comes in and installs equipment that; Looks at T1 errors between smart jack and PBX. Makes test calls at all hours of the day. Tracks the weather. We provide the data to Verizon.
- Verizon reviews data then installs equipment at the smart jack for "another look" It's the copper T1! and it runs errors usually 12- 24 hours after heavy rain storms.
