Wasting time on PBX installs due to unverified POTS lines? Send your newbie tech ahead for a few simple TESTCALLS

1. Use a two digit tech id number to use as a prefix for every test call. Example tech is = "52"

1. Clip to new dialtone NID postion with buttset and call 804-222-1111. Example NID postion = "01"

2. Enter TECH ID + NID POSITION. Example code is = "5201"

3. Repeat 1 & 2 for each NID position tested. Example: "5202", "5203"..."5225".

4. Once your 222-1111 calls are complete, enter your tech ID here. Example: "52"

5. Choose HTML or Excel output HTML EXCEL

Data Entry Controls

Understand that each DTMF key press speaks back your digit as this is also a feature of 222-1111. It is enough in the example above to just enter "5201" and hang up. But to verify your NID designation code, make use of the * and # keys.

• Pressing # after entering JUST 4 digits (0-9) will speak the digits back to you. It will not work if you have pressed 3 digits, or 5 or 6.
• JUST FOUR DIGITS.
• You may press * to erase all stored digits and start over entering 4 digits.
